Jakarta Loss Its Aura As Capital City Of Indonesia

Jakarta. I think the name of Jakarta has been widely known. As a capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta that was formerly known as Batavia or Jayakarta is the most populated city in Indonesia. It has evolved from a swamp area to a big city that is lived by around fifteen millions people at day and seven millions at night.

Jakarta also monopolize the circulation of money in Indonesia. About 80% to 90% money only circulates in Jakarta. That situation leads to underdevelopment to other regions in Indonesia. Jakarta gets bigger and bigger but other regions get left behind. Screams of jealously have been heard since 1950 with the rebellion of PRRI. But, the leaders in Jakarta looks like do not have ears. They remain keep Jakarta’s development that live behind other areas going unstopped.

Nowadays, Jakarta is not conducive to business and country administration. The overpopulated cars result in hopeless traffic jam every hour. People can only reach at most three locations a day. A very unproductive business situation. Air pollution also high that in the long term will harm citizens health. The most thing that show Jakarta is not conducive to business any more is the demonstration or rally that are dominated with anarchic ending. Almost every week the demonstration destruct the imperturbability of city life. People think that democracy allows them to speak out their voice loudly in anarchic rally. It is a sign that democracy is not suitable for this country, isn’t it?

What make us upset is Jakarta’s yearly tradition. The tradition’s name is flood. Yes, every year Jakarta is sunk. Flood covers Jakarta’s surface with water from rain and rivers. Sometimes, the water from sea also make the toll way to the airport disappears and makes the flight traffic paralyzed.

To administer the country, government needs conducive atmosphere. But, the inexistence of separation between capital of business and capital of politics makes Indonesia’s business is strongly depend on political temperature. Anarchic rallies make bad atmosphere worse.

Indonesia has to move its capital city from Jakarta to other city. Soekarno, the first President of Indonesia, ever suggested to move capital city to Palangkaraya, a city in Borneo to look for a central location in Indonesia. Not too close to western area and not too far from east area. In Soeharto era, that was also a plan to move governmental capital to Jonggol. But, the project was disappear along with the fall of that New Order Leader. Indonesia even left behind by Malaysia that successfully move its capital from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya. Myanmar also moved its capital to Yangoon. USA moved its capital from New York to Washington. But, Indonesian leaders loss their long term vision and still are reluctant to decrease their convenience to live in Jakarta although Jakarta is not conducive any more to be the center place to govern Indonesia.

Unpredictable Happenings in 2009 Are Inevitable

Entering 2008, we never predict some happenings. But, they still come to us, entering our lives.

On ending 2008, I guess that there will be many unpredictable happening that will exist. Along 2008, we have witnessed a historical jump. For the first time, America chose an Afro-American man to be their President. Fifty years ago, Afro-American people were still afraid to become a president candidate. Even dreaming about it, they were afraid. But, in the future, everyone will dare to dream about everything. Change is inevitable, even for America.

As all of us has known, we are now involved in am inevitable crisis. A global crisis that started by America. The size of American economy affected all of the world to be pulled in to the crisis tornado. 2008 crisis is bigger than Great Depression America ever suffered. American economist, perhaps, have predicted upcoming crisis since late of 2007. But, people around the globe have never predicted. Most of them even did not have sufficient economics knowledge about what have caused current economic crisis.

We have also witnessed, in 2008, that an American President was insulted by Iraq television journalist. George Walker Bush was thrown with shoes. In Arab culture, thrown with shoes is the lowest humiliation. Regardless American culture, the world has seen that an American President was insulted in Iraq with the lowest level insult. No one predicted that it would happen in 2008. Yes, no one. Such incidents are unpredictable but can happen.

In 2009, there will also happen unpredictable happenings. But, we will not know what happenings before they are happened. Let us pray our prayer to ask for Gods’ protection. I wish America would not take a military action to Iran. After destroying Iraq, I hope America get back their consciousness and stop making destruction on the globe surface.

Bush was Thrown with Two Shoes In Iraq, A Critical Comment

Approaching the end of his presidency, George Walker Bush visited Iraq for the last time. Unfortunately, he got nothing but shoes thrown at him by an Iraqi television journalist Muntadar al-Zaidi. 10 sized shoes!

Hates are left in worlds heart. Thrown shoes was only an expression of world hatred. Think that Barrack Obama has to recover Americas’ image destroyed by George Walker Bush.

I always stand on my position that attacking Iraq is a big mistake. America guessed that if they have pulled Saddam Hussein down from his chair, Iraq would live in better situation. Wrong view. That Iraq came in to new state of democracy – American democracy –, I admitted that. But, admitting that Iraq gain better situation, I can not do. Iraq goes to worse situation. Peace has not been successfully created in Iraq after the fall of Saddam.

A democratic country like USA spreads democracy with undemocratic manner is not acceptable. Why shall America enforce democracy out of its border? Why America forced all over the world to live with American values? We are told that democracy will assure that pluralism will be exist. Democracy accept diversities. Then, why America told other society to live with American values?

Thrown by shoes was nothing. But, Bush should think that he has created bad image and hatred. Bush also has destroyed ancient heritages in Iraq. He destroyed economic achievement. He lied to us. Iraq has had no weapons of mass destruction.

Thank God that Bush will expire soon. If American constitution does not limit presidency period, Bush will kill all Iranian based on “wrong” intelligence information. How can America has an impotent intelligence?

As Iraq War Was A Mistake, George Bush Is A War Criminal

Bush almost admit that Iraq war was a mistake. Bush said that Iraq war was his biggest mistake. According to Bush, Iraq war was the intelligence failure. US Intelligence reported that Iraq developed weapon of mass destruction. Bush will wash his hands and throw the dirty towel

Iraq war was absolutely a mistake. Since the beginning, the reason to strike Iraq was not clear. Bush said that Iraq under Saddam Hussein was behind Osama Bin Laden and 9/11. Then, the reason was changed to weapon of mass destruction. In my opinion, the main reason Bush invaded Iraq was only because his father unable to beat Saddam Hussein. World life was valued cheaper than family revenge.

At present, all of us have known that Iraq war reason was not true. Iraq was not behind Osama Bin Laden and Iraq had not had weapon of mass destruction. We are unable to go back to the past and repair all the mess Bush has been done in Iraq. Iraq has been successfully destroyed. Historical heritages belonged to Iraq have been stolen. Ancient heritages were damaged. The only way to repair the world harmony is to bring Bush to war criminal court. He has killed many citizens of Iraq with his wrong policy to strike Iraq. Now, he has to pay it. If Bush is unable to pay, America has to replace Bush to pay all the world destruction Bush has made.

In Indonesia Blogger Runs For Parliamentary Election

It is not uncommon anymore for politicians publishing their blog. Many politicians have publicized their thoughts from their own blog. But, a blogger runs for parliamentary election is a new phenomenon. In Indonesia, it is a really new thing.

I think that every citizen has right to elect or to be elected. That is the main reason I submit my application when Greater Indonesia Movement Party announced the House of Representative candidate recruitment.

I pick Greater Indonesia Movement Party because I have proved so far that old established political parties in Indonesia have no intention to bring Indonesia to a better nation. They continue to corrupt people's fund to enrich themselves and their crony. To overcome Indonesia sickness, a new party with new leader and direction is needed. And, Greater Indonesia Movement Party fulfils that requirements.

As a blogger, of course, I have no political experience before. But, Let me tell you that I don't have failure political experience too.

Indonesia has to move to a new state of nation that shall bring its people to prosperity. I will amend every act that tends to bring loss chance to Indonesia like acts that was made under IMF supervision.

The Change Is Inevitable Even For America

Hi, see you again after a while of inactivity. My last post was talking about time for Democratic Party to lead America. It is now has been decided by American citizen that chose Barack Obama to lead America for the next four years. My congratulations to America.

I am glad that American rationally chose a young leader to govern America. In my views, Barack Obama is better than John McCain. He is a visionary leader that will bring America to a better situation. I know that under Barack Obama direction America will not use its military power to spread wars on the world.

The change is inevitable even for America. Decision to choose Barack Obama represents that America has achieved a new progress in democracy. Racial issue in presidential chair has been omitted from American perspective. I think that it will blow positive wind to the rest of world. America has been changed, the world is going to change too.

Time For Democratic Party To Lead America

It is enough for Republic Party to lead America. In my opinion, two periods is enough for Republic party to make America's image deteriorated significantly. American war against terrorism has created a new terrorism species, that is state terrorism. America with all of its unilateral action spreads terrors on the world.

I think that America has taken wrong decision to take a military action against Iraq. Americas intelligent failed to anticipate the raise of Shiah fights against America. The proof for my views is Iraq situation that never be better than Saddam Hussein era. Iraq national security is worse. Economic condition is worse. What America success to make progress is only in freedom of bombing. Iraqian free to bomb Iraqian police or American soldiers. What a pity.

Now, it is time to America to repair the damage on the world caused by America itself. Republican can not do it but Democratic.

Of course no party in American that is not support Israel Zionism. But, I think that Democratic will not spreads terror on the world like Republican that blood thirst to attack every country that is naively perceived as a potentially danger country. Till now, America has no proof of weapons of mass destruction Iraq has as Americas main reason to attack that country. Iraq never endangered other country but America. Look at the fact. Iraq only attacked Kuwait once but America attacked Iraq twice. America attacked Afghanistan too and still find way to attack Iran. What a terrorist conduct!
